I shuffled those stupid tiles forever, but couldn't come up with a word. I felt seriously stupid. Then we ran it through checkwords on the iPhone and came up with "alforja." I no longer feel so bad.</li> <li>Steve was going first and came up with a rack full of consonants. Not a single word to be made. So we came up with the rule that the player could choose: a) Turn all the tiles in, redraw, and play unpenalized, or b) Player could choose to pass, replace <em>some</em> of the tiles and forfeit their turn.</li> </ol> <p>Steve chose b) since he wanted to keep his X.</p> We had a couple of first-timers this past week.

The official scrabble dictionary has many of these words. However, when you play one and you get lots of points out of a word that has never been used or could be used by any normal person only one thing to say "BINGO" There are words that should never be
