My apologies
Dearest Readership,
I realize that it has been far too long since I have written you. There is no excuse for my laxidasical behavior. Well, actually there is an excuse though not a very good one; in a word, Time.
Time has not been particularly kind to me lately. So unkind, in fact, that I am willing to entertain any offers from my readership to severly censure, bludgeon, or otherwise torment Time for the way that it has been torturing me. I’m trying, as we speak, to negotiate with Time for some leniancy so that I am able to get back on track with my writing.
As you all may be aware, it is July; the end of July to be exact. And since August is rapidly approaching I am beginning to panic. Panic that Time will continue his evil torturing an will try to sabotage my very favorite autumn holiday — NaNoWriMo. In fact, last night I received the Summer Update from Chris Baty. There’s an awesome ultra-limited-edition NaNo Button pack that you can get from the store for your $50 donation. You not only get the button pack, but you also get that awesome halo over your profile picture! I checked this morning, and it appears that there might be a few left… hurry right now!
So, Time, take your evil stolen seconds and, frankly, shove them. I’m coming back and there’s nothing you can do to stop me!
