Why my wedding was Rock Star Quality

If you were in attendance at my wedding back in the late spring of 2005 you hopefully had a good time.  I certainly did.  I also felt like a Rock Star the whole time.

I am now affirmed that my wedding totally had Rock Star stature.

Our photographer  (Sota Dzine) just did Lisa Loeb’s wedding.  Yes.  The… Lisa… Loeb.   I knew they were brilliant photographers, which is why I picked them, but now the world knows they are brilliant photographers.  I’m so happy for them!  That’s completely awesome.

To ice the wedding cake, so to speak, my mother’s dress was also crafted by Mr. Kwan from Kwan’s Boutique in McLean, Virginia.  He tailors for the likes of Mrs. Dick Cheney and Mrs. Colin Powell, and of course… my mother. Miles Stiebel also personally played my ceremony and my cocktail hour and created an original arrangement of the K’s Choice song Favorite Adventure for the ceremony.  Mr. Stiebel has been seen playing presidential galas and has played with Ray Charles.

Yes.  My wedding = Rock Star wedding.

Again, my most heartfelt congratulations to Nicole and her crew at Sota Dzine for landing the Lisa Loeb wedding.  There isn’t a more talented team of photographers out there who deserve this more!

Update: Because @HollyMVG was so hoping that she’d be able to find out once and for all if the red hat is permanently attached to my head, I’m including some of the fantastic pictures that Sota Dzine did for our wedding.  They make us all look like Rock Stars.

sadly we don’t have any framed (what is wrong with us?) we took over a year to do our album too! Although, now that you mention it, maybe the maple tree one would be a good V-Day present for Steve!
